Cutting a lining

10KSteps | Posted in General Sewing Info on

I want to line some aprons.  How much smaller should I cut the lining so that the front of the apron curls around and the lining fabric does not show?

    cutting a new lining

I would cut it the same size as the apron, however, when you pin the lining to the apron fabric, slide the lining so it extends 1/8" beyond the apron fabric.  This will achieve the 'turn of the cloth'
