HI all
I have some denim jeans which i love. I have taken the thread out from the pocket design , but now im left with some stitch marks and dye, which has not faded with the wash.
I would like to get the pocket to look like a normal pocket with no marks on it. Is this possible or am i being unrealistic.
Has anyone any ideas how i can get rid of the mark left ?
many thanks

I have used weakened bleach and a very fine paint brush. It isn't perfect, but it makes it much less noticeable. You to be careful or you just replace the dark line with a white one.
Sometimes I will use high heat and steam on my iron to get rid of the holes. I finger press the holes from the wrong side of the fabric to get the fibers to lay back to their orginal position before steaming and ironing. Then to make the area look more worn or washed I take a sand paper block or large file (one used for false finger nails)and loosely rub the denim to make it look a little worn. If I have too many bleach spots and not enough dark denim left I will use a permanent paint/dye/marker in navy, dapping the area, then I use the sand paper to rough it up and wash it.
