designer patterns

TzipiGlick | Posted in Patterns on

Does anyone know if there is anyway to get hold of current designers’ patterns- for example Eli Tahari’s or Anne Klein’s. I guess I can just copy the clothes I have and make a pattern from that but if I could get hold of the pattern it would save time.Thank you

Did you look through Vogue patterns? Sometimes they care these designers.

Haven't heard of Eli Tahari, but Vogue does carry several designers patterns including Anne Klein.

Do an internet search using the name of the designer. Many of them have a blog or web site with how to contact them and most will sell you one of their patterns or tell you where to get one.

    Try these:
    http://www.elietahari.com/index.php
    http://www.anneklein.com/

I recognize Elie Tahari - you'll find Tahari patterns periodically at Vogue Patterns. If there are none this season you may want to search eBay for "Tahari Vogue patterns" and see what comes up.

I sewed a lovely Vogue Tahari jacket and bias skirt as a "going away" suit after my wedding in the late 90s. Beautiful simple styles, and so elegant.
