Bought used Viking Designer SE sewing machine . Turned on and sewed about 15 minutes. The machine began to smoke. I turned it off and it never started again. Took out the switch and sent out for repair. I was told there is nothing wrong with switch. The sewing machine will not power on or sew at all.

Viking smoked and stopped working
The entire machine should be looked at by a Viking tech. It is possible the motor is shot.
