Dickey Patterns for Women’s Suits

JerriBerry | Posted in Patterns on

I am looking for a dickey pattern to be worn with a dressy women’s  suit … preferably one that snaps or buttons in the back.

All suggestions are welcome.

Many thanks!

Jerri

What a neat idea, I wonder why no one has come up with a pattern for one!  Could you buy a blouse pattern and just make the front, collar/band and back yoke?  To keep in place you could use a bra strap "keeper".

Eunice Farmer has a pattern for a dickie to wear under a suit jacket that is essentially a scarf of soft fabric that goes around your neck, crosses in front and is pleated and  fixed to a square of fabric that you tuck into  your skirt or pants. A nice soft feminine touch to a more tailored suit.
