I am a beginner and would like to make jackets for dogs.

However, working via mail order online I will not be able to measure the dog in person and would like to know how best to get the owner to measure their dogs.

Given that these jackets are for a four legged creatures I am banking on the flexibility of owner’s expectations.

How best to proceed please ?
