What is doublecloth? I'm not familiar with that term.

Doublecloth is a fabric that has been woven so that it has two layers of fabric interconnected by threads. It has two right sides. A Double faced fabric is similar in it has two good sides, but does not have the double layer to it.
Jacquard woven fabrics sometimes come this way, with the print on one side, and plain on the other.
Hope this answers your question. Cathy
Thanks Cathy. Explains it for sure.

I know Britex in San Fransisco has lots of beautiful double cloth wools.
