Wanted to let you know that I could see your image just fine, David (haven't looked at this site since we were doing our modular vest challenge!), but since I'm behind with my digests, am not sure WHAT this photo is supposed to be showing! Thanks for sharing your expertise in this area with our group, though, it's a real treat!
Sue
Hi, Sue...the picture here is just a test, not germane to any current discussion....but it does come from a shirt-fitting discussion I participated in on another board, and shows quite well, I think, how photos can be combined with diagrams and/or labels to communicate ideas that would be much more cumbersome to simply describe.....it's a proof of concept, if you will, designed to get CM members intrigued with how easily they could enrich their discussions.

I was just looking through a recent Threads magazine, David, and realized that even though I like reading the text, I really only understand what's being said by referring to the great photos that accompany each article, so really appreciate your trying to do that for our online group as well!
Sue M.
I hope it catches on...it's quite simple and can really enrich any discussion.
Excellent. Clear. Thanks.
Carolyn Van Otten (still catching up on mail)
Dear David,
This is great. How do you do this?
Nancy
Just click on the Attach Files button below the box you're writing your message in and follow the directions. You should have your pictures already prepared, i.e., reduced in size and saved as jpegs in some easily found location on your hard drive. Pretty simple, really; hope it catches on!

Hi David,
Am I allowed to talk to you in this format? Sorry if I'm not.....
Getting ready to go where it's warm for 5 months so haven't been sewing lately or reading on the internet but I take my machines and laptop computer with me in the RV. Miss your work in Threads.
Made an Egyptian cotton blouse with embroidery thread per your book, and it turned out great. However, hated ironing it; gave it to a friend for a chef's jacket.
What have you been doing lately?
I have been looking into RV's recently and wondered about sewing/embroidering and how to go about this. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Sorry this is out of context but is of great interest to me.
