Wow! I finally found a site that has really top end fabric for comparatively reasonable prices. This lady carries lots of exquisite Italian silks…dupioni (with very few slubs, unlike China silk), taffetas, satins, and sheers. She also carries gorgeous trims. These are expensive fabrics, but I’ve not found anything that is comparable anywhere else. (I’ve never had the chance to go to New York, so I don’t know if they have this stuff there…but I’ll bet its more expensive.) What’s even more fantastic for me is that she lives in my hometown! Who knew!!!! I found her by a very happy accident. Here are a couple of links…to her actual website and to her eBay store. Although the eBay store lists large amts. of yardage, if you phone or email her, you can get smaller amounts. She makes custom lampshades and draperies, as well. Even if you don’t want (or can’t afford) to purchase from her, you may want to check out her site. Wonderful eye candy! She has available much more than what is shown on either site…and can get other stuff, too! Enjoy!! http://stores.walshdesignsinc.com/StoreFront.bok http://shop.ebay.com/walshdesigns/m.html?_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A1%257C39%253A1%257C72%253A2464&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_pgn=1

Lucky you to have a supplier in your hometown. It always annoys me when websites don't give their location. I can't tell what country they are in, let alone what hemisphere.
