Today I received an email asking me to participate in a survey about Threads. Clicking on the link brought me to a page thanking me for having participated. The email indicated that if the link didn’t work you could cut and paste the URL but no URL was included.

Thanks very much.

i got that email too. Was it not legit?
We're not sure where it came from, and are trying to trace its origins.
Threads does publish an e-newsletter, the second issue of which will be mailed to our list next week. This letter is entirely legit, and so recipients should feel perfectly safe opening and reading it.

Hello Folks,
The email survey that some of you received is a legitimate Taunton Survey and yes there was a small disconnect about the survey between The Technical and Editorial groups. We were seeking a specific number of survey responses which we have received and therefor the survey is now closed. Thanks to those of you that took the time to respond, your feedback is very valuable to us. If you ever have any questions about communications you receive from Taunton, please be sure to contact our customer service folks either via email or phone.Phone: 1 800 477 8727
