Hi Crazy, It is lovely. I’ve saved the pic to file. Thanks!
I’ve started a new thread, just for you, so you can update us on any EmbLibrary specials, showcases etc.
To find this discussion again, scroll to the bottom of the screen, rate your interest as High (click on the circle next to ‘high’). Then click apply. You see a thumbs up on your favourite discussions.
Once you are in ‘start reading’ page, To find this amongst the many messages, see Show Discussions, click on the arrow next to All, scroll down to ‘of high interest’ and click. now you will only see those discussions you don’t want lost.
Click the arrow again and scroll to ‘All’. then all messges will be displayed.
I hope I haven’t confused you too much. I use this method and find discussions easily.

Crazy K used a different thread to notify me of this, which is why I started a thread just for her. Keep checking back here for more updates from Crazy K about all things from the Embroidery Library website. http://www.emblibrary.com
Crazy K wrote: Check out the Stitchers' Showcase at Emb. Library for today (July 18)......a lady from Australia entered a beeeeaaaauuuuutiful woolen sweater that she embellished with her janome 300E...........
Thanks so much!!! I went to the list of contributors but your name wasn't listed.....otherwise I would have started a new thread. I guess all this 'techie' stuff is just above me!! ha ha
I'm glad you liked the photo. I thought you would........such a gorgeous sweater. I love to create and embroider but I see the talent out there and get envious. Guess I just don't have the 'vision' that some of the others do.
Happy Stitching..................ah yes, I'm waiting for you to post photos of your latest embroidery creation!!
K
You're welcome! I will send an 'alert' whenever I think there is something you would really like.......or whenever they have great sales! Have you signed up for the weekly newsletter?? You get all the latest designs and the weekly specials that way.
You still have me to alert you when there is something special!! ha ha
K
I did receive the lates newsletter, Roam around the World.
Cool luggage tags!
Love the Toile Landmarks. Have you worked wth this type of design? I haven't.
Yes, I have........I have several of the toile collections, i.e. birds, flowers, snowflakes, & herbs. I love them.........easy to stitch, quick and they aren't heavy so you can use them on lightweight fabric without weighing it down. They're very classy.
I'll attach a photo of a curtain I made for my sewing "studio" (aka basement!). They are toile birds......love 'em.
K
they are so sweet. you can hear them singing if you listen really hard.
Tweedle-de Tweedle-de LOL You are so clever!!
thanks. they will whistle while I work. better get back to the hems.
Latest News from Emb. Library!!!!!!! They now have a Christmas Club.....free to join and you earn 'points' for buying. Then before Christmas you receive a Gift Cert.
With that said.........check your newsletter this week and scroll down to read all about it. Those of you not receiving the newsletter can go to http://www.emblibrary.com and on the home page you will see a list of designs on the left of the page. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and you should see 'newsletter'. Click on that to get the current newsletter of the week.
Happy Stitching!!!!!

Thank you Kay,
"Christmas in July" is celebrated in the Blue Mountains in Western New South Wales. My School had Christmas Drinks in June. Tinsel, Trees, was a lot of fun.
It is time for me to start thinking of Christmas gifts and such designs for the Kindergarteners and Teacher.
The newsletter has lovely Santas. We don't have Squirrels down here, we have xmas possums, emus, kangaroos. I have hand appliques with those animals. They look adorable in their santa hats. Have to find them and make those too.
Yes, I have joined the Christmas Club, looks good!

Hi Kay,
I just made my first online purchase thru Emblibrary. Too easy. I chose the Back to school set and some fruit coasters. I had the designs emailed to me in the zip file and viewed them using my buzzexplore program, cause I forgot i could use my other one. Anyway very happy with they way their checkout works. Now I have to buy stabilizers and fabrics and more cottons. and get to work/play.

Oh fun! I am excited for you. You will have so much fun.......hope you've warned your family that they may not see you as often for a while!! LOL I'm just waiting for an extra bit of time to make mats for my step daughter to put on the table for hot pans, dishes, etc. I'm making them like hotpads with the insul-brit inside, quited teflon coated padding on the backside and cotton on top.......just making them a bit larger. I have a design with a wine bottle and grapes (Emb. Lib., of course!) as their kitchen has pictures of wine bottles on the wall. I've been too busy helping DD with her daycare, swimming lessons for her little one and sewing for her business. One day very soon I'll carve enough time.........
I do hope you'll keep me posted on your progress. Have fun and don't fret if you have a boo-boo or two..........it happens. Just learn and 'go for it'!
As a side note.........I think Emb. Library has one of the very easiest sites to purchase from. They're so helpful if you have a problem, too. You can download the unzipped files as well. I do that unless they aren't offered that way. That saves a step of unzipping them.
Happy Stitching!!! Are you checking the Stitchers' Showcase? There have been some great things on there of late.

Thanks Kay, I'm a home-mum... at the moment. I have had a quick chat to School Teacher about xmas plays. Kindergarten does a nativity play. They have 'tired looking' costumes. If they need my help I will give, so long as I get notified early....all the girls will probably want to be angels (15), the boys will be shepherds etc. Then there is Jesus Joseph and Mary. Oh boy!! Will work something out. In the meantime play with the Janome.
Yes I have run thru the stitchers showcase.
Need to be careful what I buy, mum has very naughtily sent me designs on cd, given to her from friends, and i don't want doubles. I need to sort these out into categories. Where does the time go!
Sounds like you'll be busy with the costumes. At least costumes are made of occasional wear and don't need to be absolutely perfect in every detail. But so many........my goodness, that will keep you out of trouble for a while! ha ha
Have fun and hope you can find lots of time to play...........life is short.........eat dessert first! ha ha
Happy Stitching!

I agree, it couldn't be any easier to order from Emblibrary. I also like that they keep your order history accessible so that if your computer or software decides it doesn't want to work anymore, you haven't lost your purchases but can go back to the site and download them again. Emblibrary will also inform you if a design you wish to purchase has already been purchased by you either in single form or in a set you already have.
I too like that EmbLibrary keeps your order history so that you can download designs again if necessary. But I didn't know that they will tell you if you already have purchased a design--that's cool! I sometimes forget which ones I have and which ones I've seen but haven't purchased yet. Thanks for the info!
Absolutely Vickie! When you see a design you like and click "add to cart", if you've purchased it in the past a red message will appear at the top of your shopping cart that says (paraphrased) " abc design is part of set xzy . . . . .you've already purchased" or "you've already purchased design efg". It has help me during those sales day when I've been a little too "add to cart happy"!
SALE ALERT!!!!!!! Check out Emb. Library for the Sales.........50% off storewide this week up to a $50 order. Take $5 off $10, etc. It's called 'coupon clipper' week...........with a one-time use code.
Just thought you'd want to know.............
Happy Stitching!

Thanks for the update Kay. I've seen several designs that I'd like to buy. Love those sales!
A new update............check out the Stitchers' Showcase for today (8/24).......two of the showcase items were done on the Janome 300e............a subject close to your heart. There is such talent out there.............I am envious! LOL I guess I don't have the 'vision' of some of the artists.
Happy Stitching!
Kay
