I bought a pair of stretch jeans that had that lovely “fuzz” for the embroidery up the legs. Tag said to dry clean only, but I washed them and just figured I would embroidery on them if the fuzz left. Did not count on the glue to stay. Picked the glue off with finger nails on one leg and only part of the 2nd leg. Now I want to embroider the design but cant seem to get there. Think it is the color that is holding me back. The fuzz was a few shades darker than the pants (carmel). If I put colors on these pants do you think I need to wear only those colors with the pants? I like the oranges, olives, and purples. Think I will stay with those for the embroidery but what happens when I put red with the pants! Need some imput on this color thing.

Hi,Maybe you could put the center of the embroidery red, say, in the center of a flower, or use a red glue-on crystal, that way you could tie in the red color.Marcy
Thanks for the ideas! Just never thought of either of them. Off to the machine! Thanks. Thanks.
maybe it's because i'm an artist or maybe it's because i don't give a flying fig what anyone cares about what i wear, but i combine colors any way my mood strikes. do what fabriholic says and add just a touch of any color you think you'd like to wear. even some beads here and there if you want. if you'd rather not embroider all those colors, you can tie colors together with other accesories, like a scarf, vest, jewelry or shoes etc.
Embroidered those Jeans and they are hot! Did not use the purple, used a very reddish orange and they look great. Thanks for ideas again.
Oh, come on, show us some pictures of the jeans.Marcy
