Fabric in Savannah, Ga.
Does anyone know of some interesting fabric shops in Savannah? I like all types of sewing. We are on vacation on Hilton Head Island and are going to Savannah tomorrow. Or how about Hilton Head? There doesn’t appear to be too much here in the way of fabric shopping!

There is a great shop in Savannah called Laces and Rags that carries heirloom sewing and smocking supplies. They advertise in Sew Beautiful and Creative Needle magazines. There are also several quilt shops. If you are into vintage textiles, make sure you check into the many antique stores. I have come home with several beautiful pieces for very reasonable prices. Have a great time--it is a beautiful city!
