Fabric Sources

Stalindsay | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

Does anyone have a good source for purchasing linen fabric at a reasonable price? I would like to make napkins and embroider a cutwork design. I would like to use plain white or off white linen.

Thanks

Although I know that you said that you wanted to make your own but if you want some blanks to do the cutwork on either by hand or by machine then try

the last time I spoke with them their web site was coming but so was hurricane Isabel.  also she spoke that they may start stocking yardage.  Good luck.

I have had luck buying newly cut medium weight white linen on ebay for $8, a yard.

Ask to make sure the fabric is new and doesn't smell. most dealers will tell you, but you HAVE to ask.
