Hi there,
Have any of you seen the movie Fatal Attraction?? The reeason for the question is this–Michael Douglas’ wife was visiting her mom and dad -she gets
phone call from her husband, she is coming in the house to take the call , she has on a denim coat that has turned up sleeves,and very large collar and it is a full length coat, lined with sherpa, i LOVE this coat and have been searching for a pattern similar to this, have any of you seen this and know what I’m talking about? I know this is a very old movie,but you ladies are so resourceful I was hoping someone could help. Thanks ,I have my fingers (and toes) crossed.

I don't remember this coat. Perhaps, though, you could do a google or google images search using some combination of the terms "fatal attraction," "anne archer," "denim coat."

Ellen Mirojnick was the costume designer for the film. If you can contact her you may get more information.
Looking at the picture in Woodruff's link, it seems like the sherpa is just a trim, rather than a lining. There is a similar coat in the purrection patterns. It has a different collar, but I bet you could draw the collar shape you want and adapt it.
