I am trying to learn to fit myself; I have made the bodyform form from duck tape and have found my breast point is one inch lower than my jacket pattern breast point. The pattern is a Vogue 8123 and has no darts, loose fitting open at the front, dolman sleeves. My question is how do I lower the breast point on my pattern one inch? Thank you so much. This is a quest for me since I have always made baby clothes….no problems with fitting.

I have the same problem and I don't think you should have to make adjustments for that pattern unless you are large busted and your bust would lift the hem line. Hang a tape measure from your shoulder over your bust and see what happens to the length. If it lifts you would have to spread the pattern to accommodate for that. I would do that below the armhole to avoid messing with the sleeve
It is unusual to see a marked the bust point on a pattern that is unfitted and has no darts. You may not have to move anything. I'll take a look at the pattern though to check.
Later edit: The bust point may be there to mark the centre button placement. Buttons should be at the bust height to reduce gaping. In this case if you plan buttons, put the centre one at YOUR bust point.
