Flower stitch attachment

Lalage | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

Does anyone know the date of an attachment called the Flower stitcher?  I have the original box and instructions: it was a Janome foot attachment number X101FS. I have used it on my Kenmore and Singer machines and it’s wonderful. I would like to know a little more of its history though. It was to be used on Janome models 470, 556, 560,670,671 and 701-573—the instructions even mention its use with “cams” so i’m figuring it’s “ancient”—anyone know anything about this Toy?

I bought one a few years ago from either clotilde or nancy.. I mostly use it for making eyelets...although I have also done some star embellishments with it...Would i have bought it if i didn't have to make lots of eyelets??/no...but for me ....it has been a good and useful toy

Thanks---that was rather anti-climatic though--LOL-- i'm really quite disappointed  that it's not unique! Oh well, still a lot of fun. I am still curious as to its history--anyone?
