glue an army patch on leather

clairez1 | Posted in General Discussion on

i would like to glue an army patch on a leather jacket. I dont want to sew it on, no time to fool with lining and all that. How about that sticky bond, would that work?? Little afraid to put heat to leather. Do you know of any special kind of glue that would work on the leather

I don't know how this would stick to the patch, but rubber cement is frequently used to glue seam allowances down in leather garments.
