Glue for lycra fabric

bss7 | Posted in General Discussion on

I know some of you on this discussion make lycra clothing, such as skating costumes, etc.    What is the best glue for attaching rhinestones to the lycra fabric?    I have used some super glue gel, and that seems to work pretty well.    Someone told me the people that make skaters costumes use E600 glue.   Does anyone have any experience in this situation?

I have used E600, and I didn't care for it. It left little "strings" from one point to the next, and the fumes were still noticeable the next morning. I prefer Gemtac, myself, YMMV.
