Hi Ladies,
Have been corresponding w/Jane and Sewlin…had to stop for a car wreck and spouse’s med. insurance messed up…so now we are going out of town…Have a house on No. Fork of Smith River near Redwoods…ideal place to sew…Had my own huge padded cutting board and all I did was sew 15 yrs. ago..Nothing much in town…1 store and 1 post office…My grd-dtrs. had many garments from me…Will be back next wk. I will take my swatches from Brooks Sawyer to my sewing friend…On the way , Marcy Tilton lives and designs in her studio(See Vogue Patterns)

Hi Jane,
Just got back and everything is ok...now..took some phoning on my part to get things to normal again... We went to our forest hideout on the Smith River...took my sewing machine and worked on my ultra seude jacket..The sleeves in particular...got it done...now for the rest..collar's on(false leather)and then facing and bagging lining.
