Has anyone tried any patterns by the Green Pepper Pattern Company? They have patterns for bicycle saddle bags and a doggy backpack that I’d like to try, but I am curious as to whether anyone else has tried anything by this company.

Their polar fleece sock pattern is great. The staff is particularly helpful in figuring out what kind of material to match up with what you're making. They offer color/fabric swatches.
I made the Green Pepper cascade bike saddle bags about ten years ago. Everything went together smoothly, the pattern pieces matched properly, the instructions were easy to follow. And I had only been sewing for a few years at the time.
I moved recently and my patterns are still in storage. Otherwise I'd dig it out and take a look at it.
If I remember right, I ordered the fabric and hardware from The Rain Shed in Oregon. (www.therainshed.com) But there's other places online that sell outdoor fabric and hardware.
This is still one of my most successful projects, and I've done a lot of sewing since then!
