Hand-stitched Buttonholes-the illus. top

carolina | Posted in Feedback on Threads on

I love Threads Magazine.

I would like to have the pattern number for the top/blouse featured on page 76 of Threads issue 141.  It is beautiful.  The article focused on hand-stitched buttonholes.  I want to know how to recreate the top.  It looks like it is made out of silk orgnazia or something similar.

Does anyone know?  I appreciate any help here.

Carolina 🙂

    Hi Carolina,

I'm so glad that you liked Pamela's blouse! She created the top as an original design for the feature, so she did not use a commercial pattern.

    Her website is:

The blouse had a cut-on sleeve and used pintucks instead of darts to take in the fabric. The pintucks were actually somewhat shaped like trees, which was a very interesting detail.
