Hand stitches

Hi there,  I have been looking for a site that would show me various hand stitches. The current pattern that I have calls for a “ladder stitch” to close the seams after I have stuffed the pillow. 

Can you help me…..

    I think that they are meaning the that you weave the needle in and out of the fold on either side of the seam line

    The University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service has an online 8-page PDF publication "Hand Stitches" illustrating many hand stitches, and also recommends the Reader's Digest "Complete Guide to Sewing" and "Complete Guide to Needlework." The link for the article is
