Help can we get the paint out?

Susan -homedecsewing | Posted in General Discussion on

Hi all, I have a big proplem, is there any way to get latex paint out or off of a sheer drapery fabric ,which I think is nylon kind of crisp white. My husband was afraid to tell me, imagine that. So he waited for me to find it myself ,today on my birthday. Please help. Thanks Susan

This is not a lot of information, but I have read directions for this and even followed them successfully.  I do not remember the solvent used (denatured alcohol?) but I know I got the instructions from a paint manufacturer's site.  Galey

Hi Sorry about your curtains, but I would like to suggest that you buy a product called Krud Kutter. It does a great job of removing latex paint from fabric. It says right on the front of the spray bottle that it takes care of drips spills and overspray. It is color fast, fabric safe, leaves no residue. It is found in hardware stores in my area. There is an e-mail address on the bottle, http://www.krudkutter.com . Hope this helps.
