   *Hello Jennifer, How is your waistband constructed? Is the elastic stitched down to the fabric? Or is the elastic loose inside the fabric casing? It makes a difference.--lin

   *stitch through the elastic waistband...top and bottom fabric, too...right through the entire casing.Each row of stitching you add makes the elastic inside "grow" 1 inch. If you want to add 2" to the elastic size...stitch 2 rows around the waistband.
