Help! Snagging Singer Talent

Bzucker19 | Posted in Sewing Machines & Sergers on

I have tried everything and cant seem to figure out what I am missing. Im sewing cotton fabric with all purpose thread and my top thread keeps getting stuck/sucked into my bobbin. My tension is set to 4 and when It is sewing correctly the tension seems fine. I have re-threaded both the bobbin and the top thread to be sure I didnt miss anything and nothing seems to change. Anyone know any tricks of the trade that might help me? Any Singer users out there experience this same issue with a drop in bobbin?

Trying removing needle plate and bobbin. Then clean any dust, Lint out of the machine. I use pipe cleaner.

Also try flipping the bobbin over. Sometimes it winds in reverse of what it should, so a flip has solved this for me in the past
