any helpful hints on narrow hemming when using sheer fabrics? I always dread this job because I want it to be perfect and mine don’t always turn out. thanks

Making Narrow Hems
There is the rolled hem, which takes practice. A step that is sometimes forgotten is to guide the fabric with both hands; left hand flat on the fabric so it does not slip from the hemmer as the right hand holds the fabic up a bit higer than the foot as the machine stitches.
An easier method would be to serge the raw edge and then fold and stitch.
Both methods work better when the area to be hemmed is startched, and tested before applying to the entend project.
