I recently saw a child’s hooded towel made from a bath towel and a washcloth or handtowel. The smaller piece was folded to form a type of “cuff” around the edge of the hood and decorated ribbon had been attached to the edge. The hood itself had been sewn to the center edge of the bath towel so that the bath towel became a wrap. Has anyone seen this pattern or the directions for it?

I made several of these for my daughter when she was a baby. I had been given a LOT of flannel receiveing blankets, more than we would ever use. I took the square blankets and laid them flat; I then took a washcloth and folded it on the diagonal (to make a triangle). The triangle goes in one of the corners of the towel and the edges are sewn or serged. This leave the other three corners to be wrapped around the baby.
