How do I request a video on sewing a bodice lining to child’s jumper?

jomac30 | Posted in Feedback on Threads on

I enjoy the videos.  I learn better that way than just reading instructions.  I’m making a few corduroy girl’s jumpers and want to know the correct way of sewing in a bodice lining.  The jumpers have a zipper back so I have two back bodice sections and one front bodice section.  I cut the lining pieces using the bodice pattern pieces.  Which part to sew first is a little confusing.  The neckline seems like it should be sewn to the lining first, then the armholes.  A video would boost my confidence to be sure I do it right.  Thanks

    Lined child's jumper

I have been looking everywhere to find out how this is accomplished -- how to sew a zipper into a lined child;s jumper with a zipper up the back, and no hand sewing.  The jumpers/dresses from Lilly Pulitzer are all made that way, and I would love to know this technique so that I can made some for my three granddaughers.  Someone out there has to know the steps in accomplishing this technique.  Please help.

Or would you know of a sewing DVD that shows how this is done?  Most of my videos are from Sewing with Nancy and one on coutour techniques.  I would be willing to buy any DVD that has this technique.  Thank you.
