How to “bustle” wedding dress train?

SuwanneeBabe | Posted in General Sewing Info on

Can anyone help?   How do I “bustle” a ready-made wedding dress train for after the wedding comfort at the reception?   I have no experience with wedding dress or formal dress sewing!   Thanks for any suggestions!

A good reference is Singer's book Sewing for Special Occasions (it has detailed instructions for all the little details in making a bridal gown, including 2 types of bustling).

Or Check out this site. http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/esb_weddinggowntips.html

    Hope that helps. Good luck.

Thanks, Jean!   I've read the paragraphs on Bustles  at http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/esb_weddinggowntips.html

and look forward to reading more from that site.   I'll pick up the Singer book at the Library this afternoon.    Appreciate your quick response!
