Does anyone have any GOOD instructions for lining pants or the name/number of a pattern that tells you how to do it. My fabric is a wool crepe (light) and I want to line the pants, but am unsure of how to begin. I don’t want it to look amateurish.

The best instructions I've ever seen for this are Sandra Betzina's. She details them in her new book "Power Sewing Step-by-Step" (check http://www.BestBookBuys.com for prices). She also has a marvelous pants-making video at http://www.sandrabetzina.com.
*Or do what I do and make separate linings. I have a dark pair and a white pair. I make them in lining fabric with the crotch and leg length a little shorter than usual with soft narrow elastic in the waist. This way all my pants are lined with minimum sewing and washing & ironing is easier. If you dry clean it will save on dry cleaning bills
*There is a book, Easy Guide to Sewing Linings, by Connie Long that shows how to line just about anything. You can get it from Amazon.com.
