Does anyone know of patterns or instruction books that create pleated or smocking-like designs on pillow covers? I have purchased fabric that is “pleated” to look like basketweaving but I would like to make my own, if possible.

There is an interesting book called The Art of Manipulating Fabric by Colette Wolff that has many types of decorative methods. You can find it on amazon.com and I have seen it in bookstores as well. I almost bought the book because I was so fascinated by what could be done, but since I am a smooth fabric surface type of gal I talked myself out of it.
