Husquvarna Nordic Machine Info

playtime | Posted in General Discussion on

I just acquired a Husquvarna Nordic machine, made in perhaps the 40’s or so but have no information on it. It is missing a foot pedal and I’m not yet sure if it even runs. It comes in a red case, is very heavy, green body. Quite a beautiful machine in its time, I think. I’d love to get it running. I tried Google and found one for sale in Toronto but no other hits. Does anyone know anything about this model?

Hi, Meg. That is likely going to be my next place to look. I am in the middle of moving and haven't had much time to do research yet. Can't wait to set up my new sewing room and get at some projects that are waiting.

      Thanks!

Hi Playtime!  You don't say where you are and there is no profile info.  Are you in the US?  If you are, I'd try this person:

Looks like he is having website issues so you may have to call him but that may be better anyway.  Good luck - let us know if you find your part.

Just sent a message off to him to see if he knows anything. As I said to Meg, I am in the middle of a move and finding it hard to get it all done:-) Too much stuff!

      Thanks for your help

You might also want to try "Relics" on line. There is also a group of sewing machine tech's on line at a sight called "wefixit" that could give you much info.

Thanks, Betakin! Great site but they didn't have this machine listed at all. I did send him an email asking for help so maybe...
