Hi All!
It seems like forever since I’ve been here…and I’m sure I’ve missed a lot! So glad to be back. My computer was giving me fits and my son’s best friend just fixed it for me about half an hour ago. Too bad I couldn’t get my son to do it…as he is STILL living at home for free (age 25).
Can’t wait to get back in the swing of things. Been riding the Harley. We just got back from spending a week on it traveling to Eastport, ME. We rode on a 100 yr old schooner and got to see finback whales, harbor porpoises, harbor seals, a shark, and an eagle! Seeing whales was on my bucket list and I cried when I saw the them!
I’ve done a little sewing this summer…mainly bustier style tops for one of my daughters and myself. Am thinking about starting my own line of tops that ‘biker ladies’ can wear. Similar to what we wore when I rode back in the ’70’s…sort of retro…halter tops, etc. The clothing they sell in the Harley shops are waaaay too expensive for what they are…basically T-shirts for $40. (HD=hundred dollars, as the saying goes) I’m hoping to make some tops and take them to some local not-Harley bike shops and see if they will let me put them there. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Be back soon….gotta spend some time checking out the older posts and catch up

Welcome Back!
Glad to catch up with you again!
I've inherited a grown adult living at home for free too. Been spending so much time dealing with other people's challenges, I haven't had time to sit at the machine in months. I'm determined to do so this weekend. Trying to finish some cushions for my deck furniture.
Good luck with the new venture. It does sound like fun! I sure miss pitching in to assist my mom on her projects. Those were good times!!! The stuff of enduring memories! I even relish the great bridesmaid dress debate. We had miles of ruffles and debated for hours the best way to get them done.
