INKJET PRINTERS

HI EVERYONE   THIS IS MY 1ST TIME AT USEING A CHAT ROOM SO BARE WITH ME.   I WANT TO BUY AN INKJET PRINTER TO PRINT ON FABRIC.  I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT KIND YOU USE, WHAT PROBLEMS  YOU MAY HAVE HAD, ECT.  ALSO ANY ADVICE YOU CAN GIVE ON GETTING GOOD RESULTS ON PRINTING.  I AM A NEW FIBER ARTIST, THOUGH I HAVE SEWN FOR 50 YEARS.  I WANT TO BE ABLE TO COPY PHOTO I HAVE TAKEN OF FLOWERS AND THEN EMBROIDERY AND EMBLISH .  AUNTIEJEAN

    I don't have anything to tell you about ink jet printers, but please don't type in all capitals, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE SHOUTING AT US! It's also difficult to read that way!

    Welcome!  There is lots of helpful info here.  If you go to http://www.equilter.com and do a search on inkjet printing they have alot of helpful information on technique.  Also http://www.patternreview.com may be of use. 

    I have a Hewlett Packard hpdeskjet3650 which is inexpensive and works well for regular printwork.  We use an Epson printer for photographs that is excellent.  Mary

    There is one brand of printer that is highly recommended.....I'm still searching for the name.
