I have just bought a 1970-71 era Sears Kenmore electric powered sewing machine. Can anyone direct me to how I can find an instruction manual or directions on how to operate it? I have never used a sewing machine before. Thank you

I agree with the other poster. Search online for sewing machine manuals, and you can buy one to download for $7.00 or a hardcopy for $12. I have a 1970 Kenmore and know it inside and out; it's a great machine and relatively simple and troublefree, but a manual will make it all very clear for you.
