The Oct/Nov 1989 issue of Threads had an article describing an invisible cast-on as used by a Ms Ellman. I xeroxed the article but failed to get the entire instructions…also missed the instructions for knitting a basic hat with this method. Is it possible anyone has this information?
Thank you in advance.

Good old Google:http://video.google.ca/videosearch?q=invisible+cast+on&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=lOLdSuuODYfqsQO5mJXiDw&sa=X&oi=video_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4&ved=0CCEQqwQwAw#
I learned two things...invisible cast-on and to use Google...thank you so much.
Google has a hundred million knitting sites, I doubt there is anything that isn't covered, a great majority have videos. You can even Google specific requests (e.g., knitting free pattern cabled chemo hat, or the name of a specific pattern) and it will take you right to the spot.
I thank you for not only finding the invisible cast-on but also while I was there, found the crochet cast-on, said to match the crochet bind-off.
