Could you please tell me where to buy invisible zippers on line? I have found only one place and was hoping for a better color and size collection. Anyone have any ideas?

http://www.cleanerssupply.com they have the best prices by far on invisible zips and Gutermann thread too. But I have found that there just IS NOT A GOOD SELECTION of colors to be found for invisible zips. Only the tab shows so I hang the tab over the fabric to see what disappears the best. I have heard of some who used those little bottles of airplane paint to paint the tab--only had to do it once and was not very pleased.
Seems like I remember something about seeing "dyeable" zips but can't remember where. Can you really match a weird color with a dye?
Thanks. I will check it out. I found another source while inquiring. It is http://www.zipperstop.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/ykkconcealedzips.htm Thanks again.

Any kind of enamel-type coating will work ~ I often use nail polish! It's usually thinner and thus self-leveling, and the funky (cheap) colors from the drug store offer all kinds of interesting choices ...Don't forget, also, that the tab of the zipper is actually such a tiny detail that *no-one* but you, as the artist, will ever really notice it unless you point it out! It's not easy to take that step back and recognize our obsessions (grin).~~~~~~Wow! that CleanersSupply site is terrific - check out the Tailoring section for lots of things people here have been looking for - at great prices! Thanks! Bright Blessings ~ Kharmin
