I need to replace my 5th Rowenta and although I do alot of sewing I just don’t want to spend the money on the steam tank models. What works best?

I'm on my 5th Rowenta too, only because my dear sweet clumsy hubby keeps tripping over the cord and dropping them !! He usually does this with a brand new one, I get so mad , but what are you gonna do. I'll always get a new one, iron that is, the hubbies a keeper. I love my Rowentas, I should buy some stock in the company don't you think ?I don't get the best with the steam generator , too bulky and cumbersom ,anyway he'd drop that one too  . Lol Susan P.s. sorry I didn't help answer your question .

I'd keep the husband too! I am going to try a cheap Hamilton Beach Prof ($35) or Steam Fast SF777 ($53.) unless I get a better answer from this posting.
