I was flipping through some old issues and saw the article in #91 on Isabel and Ruben Toledo. The author, Anne Bissonnette said she was writing a second article on some more complex designs by Isabel. Did it ever get published? I don't recall ever seeing another article either. I'd really love to know more about this amazingly inventive designer. Since she no longer does runway shows, it is almost impossible to get information on her current designs.
No, that follow-up never got written, and it's a shame. I love their designs, too, and have tried to recreate a couple based on the sketches in the magazine. Very cool garments, but not all that flattering, it turned out, on my figure! Oh well, I had fun and learned something along the way.

Sometimes sewers don't go shopping enough to try on clothes. It makes it easier to envision if a style will be flattering instead of we love the design and hope that it will look great!
