I just enjoyed reading a luscious article in a back issue about Isobel Toledo. In the article in issue #91 it says that an article on the designers more complicated designs will be forthcoming.
It seems topical now with Michelle Obama’s dress decisions, etc. etc.
An index search for the designers name or the authors Ann Bissonnette do not bring up another article.
Is it possible that I have overlooked it.

Perhaps I am standing alone here, but I like Michelle Obama's decisions regarding her wardrobe. It is timely, considering the economy ...and I think we've had enough first ladies with their noses in the air, refusing to dress in a practical but smart (can't seem to find another word for it) manner.
Don't get me wrong here: I love designer clothes and "wearable" art ...but sometimes the $$$ I have is better spent on Coats-for-Kids, than on expensive clothes. chuckle ...I suppose that is why I sew most of my own clothing.
Anyway, that is just my opinion. I'm probably out of touch here ...; it won't be the first time. It seems to happen a lot as I add another year to an already numerous number of candles on my birthday cake.
That said, I study carefully each and every designers new "digs" every chance I get - because it's fun ...and we all need a smile on our faces every chance we get in this dreadful economy.
PS: I'll check out the article when I can get to my old Threads. Indeed, maybe you are saying the same thing ...and I am speaking out of ignorance here. So thanks for the reference.
