   Maybe you didn't check in the right place for the Janome reviews on PatternReview. There are 2 reviews on the 1600P and one on the 1600DB.

   When you are on the site..go to the left of the page and click on the sewing machine reviews when it takes you to a new page then go up to the top where all of the different brands are listed and click on Janome and you will then see the many reviews for all of the different model Janome machines and sergers.
