Hi everybody:
A few weeks ago I went to JoAnn Fabrics and this fabric for curtains it is call Jaquard Neutral.
I just bought whatever was fom the roll. The lady helping me told they soon would have in stock again. I started my curtains but I was short of fabric so I went back to the store and they told me that specific fabric is been discontinued it.
But… I also was told that could make a special order. So… I went back again…no luck I was told they can’t place a special order on discontinued items. I just need one panel of about
50X100. The sad part this is the first time I ever made curtains or sew at all. The ones that I finished look so beautiful (IMHO 😉 )

Your experience mimics mine. I purchased fabric that was on the front of their circular and less than a month later found it was "discontinued". I will be very careful when purchasing at their store in the future. On the plus side they did a search for me at their other area stores and the day was saved. Have you asked them to do a search? Good luck!
*please go back to the joann fabrics store and ask them to do a district( or region or even company wide)search with their special orders dept. they will have to then call the individual stores to see if they actually have the fabric, but if it was discontinued recently there is usually some in one of the 1000+ stores and they will transfer it in for you. i would hate to see you frustrated over a few yards, so please email me if you aren't getting any results.
