For anyone interested in purchasing a folding table, JoAnn’s will have the Sew Essentials Cutting Table on sale for 50% off . . . sale price is $49.99 . . . and, if I read the enclosed “10% off your total purchase” coupon correctly, the table could be purchased for approximately $45.00 (before sales tax) with the coupon during their 4th of July sale that will be held July 2-4.
I have no affliliation with JoAnn’s . . . except to keep an eye out for their not-to-miss sales . . . and this one seems pretty good . . . I have owned this table for a couple of years and really appreciate the ability to layout fabric, patterns, etc. at a comfortable height . . . It folds up and is a rather small size (I have mine under a window when it’s not in use) . . . and opened up, the work surface is 60″ x 30″ . . . I even use it occasionally as a buffet table with a tablecloth thrown over it.

I just joined the group and was reading over the messages. Everyone seems so knowledgeable and helpful. I am returning to sewing after an absence of +25 years so I have a lot to catch up on.
A comment about the table on sale at Joanns. When I tried to use my coupons to buy it last year, I was not allowed to do so. I was told that the coupon didn't apply to specialty items. It made me very unhappy especially since I had been looking forward to the sale for so long. Maybe the policy has changed now.
P.S. I did get my table after all; a family member gave it to me at Christmas.
