June/July 2008 project question

maer | Posted in Feedback on Threads on

In the instructions for the Four-Square tunic/dress, I had to read the instructions at least five times before I had half a clue what was going on. I never would have figured it out if I hadn’t finally noticed another picture of the garment on the Contents page.

I think more photographs or line drawings would greatly improve the instructions. What do you think?

I still haven't figured it out. Your eyes must be better than mine. I thought I was pretty good at sewing without instructions. Where are the ties supposed to go?

I'm going to have our technical editor respond--more on this shortly
