Well according to the Threads online article Karen Howland lives in Chillicothe, IL so if you google her you'll find her info comes up as:

I don't know, try googling her and see what comes up.
I googled her before I called and compared the numbers from google and the magazine and they're the same and unfortunately wrong. I tried finding out some info on the publishing company, but no results.

The book is called Pants Fitting Made Easy and it was in an older issue of Threads. I googled her and the number in the issue matched the number I found on google.
