Years ago I remember that there were places you could buy kits. I made a jacket and vest. Does anyone know of any companies that prepare kits (fabric cut out, all the notions, etc) like this?
Thanks!

Are you talking about Frostline kits? I made one of them, a vest, its was a great product, I still have the vest,& Yes, I stilluse it! It must be 25 - 30 yrs old now!
Frostline was based out of Colorado, they went out of business a while ago and I haven't found anything like them. They really did a great job on those kits, I remember having to take a candle to melt the edges of the ripstop nylon... Memory lane here I come.

Yep. That was it - Frostline! So, why isn't it around now. I mean, it was so convenient and easy.

I don't know why they went out of business. Probably they couldn't compete with the outsourcing to other countries.
I made SEW many things from Frostline - jackets, luggage ... I went looking for them when my jacket died and they didn't exist anymore.

Nyla,
I just did a search on Ebay for "frostline" and came up with several of their kits!
