Life Happens

rodezzy | Posted in Gather For A Chat on

Hi Everyone:  I’m back at work as of yesterday, I’ve been dealing with some life issues, but I’m back.  Just know that I am fine and things are normalizing.  I didn’t want anyone to worry.  Thanks for all of your compliments and encouragements.  I will be back to talk to you next week, have lots to do here today.  Have a wonderful weekend and keep in good spirits.

I've been concerned about you all week, and suspect that I'm not the only one.  It just didn't seem quite right that you weren't around ...either sharing something new and fabulous that you've been working on or enjoying your comments, suggestions, etc. to others of us who appreciate your input.  I hope all is going well now in your family, and that everything is back to normal.

Thank you so much for jotting a note before disappearing for the weekend.  Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.  Have a great weekend!

    Your friend, Sewslow67

You have been missed.  Even though I am not into crafts and quilting as you are, I always enjoy reading your comments and ideas.  Glad you are back.

Whew! There you are. I had been wondering about and missing you. You are such an inspiration to me, and obviously to many others, to get up and move around. Can't help it after reading your posts about and seeing pictures of your creativity.

Hope things are looking up for you.

As you must see by now, people notice when you're not here. Glad to hear you'll be back soon.

Thanks for your concern, hugs and well wishes.  I am O.K.  There are always things happening in life, I've learned about so many things with so many of you and what you are going through and take inspiration to work through my own issues.

So, just know that I'm O.K., I am working on projects still, but it's become more like busy work right now as I gear up for some issues taking place in my circle of life.  Thanks to a higher power, you guys and all of the people around me, my armor is strong.

Looking forward to posting something new real soon.  I also have the Quilt Show coming up and that is taking time.

I, too, am glad you're back.  Like the rest of us, I was worried, as it's just not like you to be quiet for that long :) - especially when you hadn't mentioned being away for awhile.  So - welcome back! - we missed you & your effervescent postings.  They always brighten our day.  I'm glad to hear you're well.  Hopefully, everything else in your life will get back to normal soon, too.

Just checking in to make sure everything's still going ok. No need to respond, just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you.

And how are you, Annie?  You were battling a bad cold the last time I heard.  Hope that is all cleared up and you're back to your busy self again.

And, Rodezzy.........I'm thinking of you as well.  Hope all is well.  Your effervescent posts are missed when you're not here.

I'm just fine. In addition to the sinus thing, I had a tooth go bad on me (dead nerve) and I had it pulled last Thursday. That improved my situation about 500% ! It's healing nicely and I'm prepping more batiks for my nephew's wedding quilt today. I'm heading to northern WI with my husband to dog-sit my parents' black lab tomorrow. He's got some work up there anyway, so he timed it to coincide with the dog-sitting. I'll probably be helping with a siding job on Saturday and Sunday, but hope to get some sewing done tomorrow and Friday.

I was just reading your post this morning and although I did wonder about your absence, I didn't think it could be a negative reason, but life does go on doesn't it, so here's to your good health and may God bless you with lots of it.

    sincerely, Mary Ann

The beauty of life and what it throws at you is that whenever you wake up on THIS side of the dirt it's a good day!  Like others I missed you!

You've been creating some pretty fierce little personalities in your dolls-- thought had crossed my mind that you might have had to take time to wrangle one of them under control. Giggle.

Anyway, you're more than enough for those dolls and for whatevr life's throwing your way.

    Stay strong my crafty sister,
