Lindas Silver Needle patterns

capemay | Posted in Patterns on

I  am just beginning to do some heifloom sewing and saw a beautiful bonnet that was a pattern of Lindas Silver Needle. They have since gone out of business. Does anyone have and of their patterns for babies/children that they don’t want any longer?

Thanks,

Cher

Try the folks at http://www.handmades.com.  They have a beautiful selection of heirloom and smocking things and are very helpful.  If they don't have the pattern, they can probably point you in the direction of a substitute.  You might also consider checking out Sarah Howard Stone's books in you local library -- many variations on her basic patterns and a wonderful resource for heirloom hand and machine sewing.  (Both me and my daughter wore dresses designed by her -- mine were handsewn, my daughters were machine sewn).
