Hey everyone…i need some help. I am lining and unlined dress. It is a knee length dress with a ruffle at the end. The back of the dress has a 21 in invinsible zipper. I plan on turning the dress inside out and outside in through the lining. I understand that I will sew the neckline and armholes of the dress to secure the lining, but how do I attach the side seams of the lining and the dress. And do I attach the shoulder seams of the lining and the dress together as well?
Thank you so much if you can offer help!
Sincerely,
Maddie

Usually the side seams of dress and lining are separate.
The shoulder seams are also sewn separate and trimmed before the neck seam attaches lining to dress.
If you want more detail, post to me via e-mail.
